Providing an all-encompassing portable solution, the system features an ultra-compact microphone/transmitter, a lavalier microphone, and a two-channel camera-mountable receiver. This allows you to conveniently record a subject's audio to a camera or phone equipped with a 3.5mm input jack.
Transmitter
Weighing less than 30g, the minuscule transmitter is equipped with a built-in clip and an omnidirectional microphone. These features make it straightforward to clip it onto a shirt or lapel for hassle-free, wireless audio. The M1 utilizes a digital frequency-hopping 2.4 GHz bandwidth system with a maximum line-of-sight range of 50m. The included lavalier microphone offers a discreet look and can be plugged into the 3.5mm input port on the transmitter.
Receiver
The receiver includes a belt clip that can be attached to camera shoe mounts or smartphone shoe mount adapters (sold separately). With its 3.5mm output, you can connect to your phone or camera's 3.5mm input. The package includes a 3.5mm TRS cable for DSLR/mirrorless cameras and a 3.5mm TRRS cable for compatible smartphones and mobile devices. The two-channel receiver allows for the addition of another transmitter (sold separately) for scenarios with two presenters on camera simultaneously.
Complete System
The transmitter and receiver both come with internal, rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that can last up to 6 hours. They are chargeable via their USB Type-C ports which can also power the units if AC power is available. Along with two USB charging cables and a wind cap for the transmitter/mic, the system allows up to 8 MoveLink M1 kits to be used on set simultaneously.
