Terms for Contract Termination
A consumer, as defined by the Civil Code, refers to an individual who engages in a legal transaction with a business entity, unrelated to their professional or commercial activities.
Under the Consumer Rights Act of May 30, 2014, the consumer reserves the right to rescind the contract within a 14-day timeframe without providing any reason. To enact this right, the consumer must notify the Store with a clear declaration of intent to rescind the contract via email (sales@godox-direct.co.uk). Although not obligatory, the consumer may also utilise the pre-established withdrawal form and send it alongside the item and proof of purchase to: VIDCOMMERCE LTD, 141 Great Bridge Street, B70 0DA West Bromwich. To ensure the deadline is met, the consumer must send the withdrawal notice before the end of the 14-day period. The Store will promptly confirm receipt of the withdrawal notice.
Upon contract termination, the Store pledges to refund all payments, including delivery costs (excluding additional costs from opting for a delivery method other than the standard), immediately, and no later than 14 days from the date of receiving the contract termination notice. Unless the Consumer explicitly agrees, the Store will use the same method of payment initially used during the transaction for the refund.
The consumer is expected to return the item promptly, but no later than 14 days from the date of contract termination. To meet this deadline, the consumer should ensure the item is returned before the time expires.
The Store holds the right to withhold the refund until the item is received or until proof of its return is provided, whichever comes first.
In case of contract termination and item return within the norms of regular usage, the Store commits to refund the product's value and delivery cost to the customer. However, the cost of returning the item to the Store under the contract termination clause will be the customer's responsibility.
To expedite the contract termination process, a printed declaration attached to the returned items (template form downloadable) is suggested. This aids in identifying your shipment and speeding up the complaint process. The returned items should be in their original condition. The consumer has the right to inspect the goods but is liable for any value reduction resulting from usage beyond what is necessary to establish the product's nature, characteristics, and functionality. The consumer is advised to return the goods in their original packaging to lessen potential transit damage.
The customer will bear the direct costs of returning the goods, such as re-shipment and delivery to us.
Due to the Stripe payment system's processing times, refunds for SEPA payments are possible no sooner than 8 weeks after the initial payment, and it is impossible to issue a refund before this. All orders paid through SEPA may have processing times extended by 3-4 days in comparison to other payment methods.
