Energy Requirements
The operation of the flash is powered by four AA batteries, which can deliver approximately 330 full-power flashes and have a charge cycle that ranges from 0.1 to 2.6 seconds. For added power, an external power port is available for connecting a power pack, like the PB960, giving the flash a higher output that opens up more photographic possibilities. This makes the flash particularly suited for events like weddings, fashion shoots, and photojournalism. Additionally, the flash comes with a USB Type-C port for future software updates.

X Wireless System
The integrated 2.4GHz X radio system places the TT685 in a class of its own, offering the possibility of operating the light as a transmitter or receiver. With a coverage of up to 100m, support for 32 channels, and the capacity to handle up to five groups, this feature enhances the versatility of your lighting setup. It also works exceptionally as a transmitting unit for V1, AD200Pro, and AD300Pro flash systems, whilst it also can be controlled using devices like the X1, X2, XPro, and V1.

User-Friendly Design
Equipped with a unique TCM (TTL Converted to Manual) function, the TT685 II allows you a smooth transition from TTL mode to manual mode. This function is designed to help establish the right exposure value, creating a convenient starting point when setting up external flashes manually. The back panel of the flash includes a simple-to-read LCD that displays flash settings. Moreover, there's a 2.5mm sync port designed for basic wired connections.

Zoom Functionality
Flexibility is key with the TT685 II, as the head can be zoomed in or out from 20mm to 200mm, either automatically or manually. This capability allows you to easily adjust its light beam to suit your shooting location, whether it's a spacious outdoors or a confined space.
