Godox SK300II-V (LED) Studio Flash
The SK300II-V studio flash is an uncomplicated yet efficient device that allows power adjustment between 1/16 to 1/1. The SK300 promises a quick recharge time between flashes, an adjustable LED modeling light which can mimic the effects of the flash power setting for pre-visualization of the picture, or it can be manually adjusted or even shut down. The flash's extensive capabilities are rounded out by an integrated System X receiver.
Functionality
The Godox SK series offers a 4 stop flash energy adjustment range (1/1 - 1/16, precise to 0.1 EV). Charging to full flash energy takes less than 2 seconds. At minimum power, the flash duration is notably short at only 1/2000s (t=0.1), facilitating casual shooting during a session. The color temperature of the flash is 5600K and can fluctuate between ±200K based on the flash energy setting.
Control
The integrated X System receiver lets you remotely activate the flash, control the energy, and change the mode. Furthermore, the Godox SK series has a USB connector for attaching XT16, FT-16 or X1 System receivers. Alternatively, a 3.5mm jack socket allows you to connect the flash to triggers from other brands.
Operation
The flash's rear panel is simple and user-friendly. The LCD screen that displays the lamp settings is large and can be seen from different angles. A convenient knob for adjusting flash power, switching the radio communication channel and lamp group is situated next to it. Five buttons below the LCD screen provide quick access to all lamp settings and functions. The LED modeling light's brightness can be manually set or synchronized with the flash energy (proportional), plus, it can be automatically shut down during the flash or perpetually illuminated.
Mount
The lamp is compatible with a broad array of light modifiers like reflectors, softboxes, snoots, beauty-dishes, among others that come with Bowens-type accessory mounts.
