Battery
The device features a durable, built-in lithium battery that allows for a long operational time, offering a usage duration of 1.5 hours at full power. It can be conveniently recharged through a USB Type-C port.

Accessories
The R1 is compatible with the optional AK-R1 Accessory Kit, which can be used expansively to modify light through grids, snoots, barndoors, gels, and much more. The AK-R1 is also suitable for use with the V1 flash.

Versatility
The R1 offers three versatile operating modes, allowing it to serve multiple roles from acting as an effect lamp to functioning as a primary or backup light on professional photography and film sets.

RGB Mode
In RGB mode, you have complete control over your compositions' color requirements by adjusting the hue (0 to 360°), color saturation (0 to 100), and brightness (0 to 100%).

CCT Mode
The CCT Mode allows you to modify the color temperature, introducing either a cool or warm aesthetic to your images. You can adjust between tungsten to balanced daylight (2500 to 8500K) with the R1.

Special Effects Mode
The incorporated 14 special effects come with 2-3 variants each, collectively offering 39 unique effects. Most of them are engineered to mimic common types of lighting. The 14 primary special effects comprise of RGB, Cycle Flash, Laser, Lightning, Broken Bulb, TV, Candle, Fire, Fireworks, Cop Car, Fire Engine, Ambulance, Music, SOS.
